BREAKING! Bongani Zungu Back In The PSL

Former Mamelodi Sundowns midfielder Bongani Zungu has finally found a club to play after leaving the Tshwane giants at the end of last season.

The 32-year-old midfielder, who was unable to secure a move to Wydad Casablanca in Morocco, has been waiting for an opportunity to get back to professional football and KZN outfit AmaZulu have secured his services.

Speaking to the AmaZulu website, Zungu said he wants to play a role in bringing a winning mentality to the club. With president Sandile Zungu at the club, there are high expectations for the club to succeed and the experienced midfielder is going to add valuable experience, having played in Europe, in the CAF Champions League with Sundowns and in major competitions with Bafana Bafana.

"Everywhere I've played, I've managed to win trophies, and I want to bring that same winning mentality here. I know what it takes to win, and that's my aim," Zungu told the AmaZulu website.

"I'm also thrilled to be coached by Arthur Zwane and Vusi Vilakazi. I've watched AmaZulu's games, and the team plays the modern game. My understanding of the game will help the team, but I know I have to work hard to earn my place
