Manchester United 4-0 Everton

Manchester United got their first Premier League win under Ruben Amorim after thrashing Everton 4-0 at Old Trafford on Sunday afternoon.

Coach Ruben Amorim rang the changes for the Red Devils, as Marcus Rashford, Kobbie Mainoo, Joshua Zirkzee and Casemiro were recalled to the line-up after the midweek UEFA Europa League action.

It took a while for the Red Devils to get going but they got the breakthrough in the 33rd minute when Bruno Fernandes' corner picked out Marcus Rashford, whose first-time strike deflected past Jordan Pickford.

The second goal arrived on 41 minutes when some great work from Amad Diallo and Bruno Fernandes ended with Zirkzee firing home his second league goal.

United carried that momentum into the second half and extended their lead a minute in when a great passing move ended with Rashford sweeping home his second goal of the day.

Zirkzee was not to be outdone on the day as he got his second goal in the 64th minute with a lovely composed finish after some brilliant work by Diallo for winning the ball back.

Chelsea 3-0 Aston Villa

Chelsea proved too strong for Aston Villa after defeating Chelsea 3-0 at Stamford Bridge.

Jadon Sancho was the only player to maintain his spot in the line-up from Thursday's Conference League clash, as the first team regulars were brought back in to the side.

The Blues got off to the perfect start as Nicolas Jackson continued his fine form by turning home Marc Cucurella's cross for his eighth league goal.

Enzo Maresca's charges doubled their lead in the 36th minute as Cole Palmer picked out the run of Enzo Fernandez, who took one touch before volleying past Emiliano Martinez.

Cole Palmer rounded off the scoring for the Blues in the 83rd minute with a superb strike from the edge of the box that found the top corner.

Tottenham Hotspur 1-1 Fulham

Tottenham Hotspur failed to build on their win over Manchester City after drawing 1-1 with Fulham on Sunday afternoon.

After a scoreless first half, Spurs broke the deadlock ten minutes into the second period as Brennan collected a pass from Timo Werner before smashing the ball beyond Bernd Leno.

The visitors did manage to get back on level terms when Alex Iwobi turned provider to pick out Thomas Cairney, who rifled the ball home.
