After competing in the Home of Legends Cup during the past weekend, there are a few Kaizer Chiefs players who could get more minutes on the pitch after struggling to break into the team.

Amakhosi beat Mamelodi Sundowns in the final over the weekend and will be hoping they can take some winning form into the Betway Premiership when it returns after the international break.

The tournament gave Chiefs an opportunity to give some of their fringe players an opportunity to play and a few of them may have opened the door to getting more minutes on the pitch when club football returns.

It's believed Amakhosi are open to making a change in the goalkeeping department, with Fiacre Ntwari struggling to find good form

Given Msimango, who has registered just one start this season, is one of the players who could get more time on the pitch, especially with Inacio Miguel expected to be out with suspension for Chiefs' next two matches.

Pule Mmodi started both matches in the Home of Legends Cup and may have raised his hand for more opportunities in the team. The former Golden Arrows winger has made two appearances as a substitute, getting a little over 20 minutes of action thus far under Nabi.

Mduduzi Mdantsane, who was injured during pre-season and has been linked with an exit, is another who could get an opportunity to play in midfield for Amakhosi. He is yet to make an official appearance this season.
