Vinicius Confirms Madrid Future After UCL Hat-Trick

Vinicius Confirms Madrid Future After UCL Hat-Trick

Saudi Arabia-linked Vinicius Junior has revealed how long he wants to be at Real Madrid for, following his UEFA Champions League hat-trick on Tuesday.

Amid significant interest from Saudi Arabia, the 24-year-old has suggested he is far from finished at Los Blancos after netting three times in his side's 5-2 win over Borussia Dortmund.

The Brazil winger helped inspire Real's second-half comeback following a disappointing first 45 minutes at the Santiago Bernabeu.

Trailing 2-0 at the break, goals from Antonio Rudiger and Lucas Vazquez, and a hat-trick from Vinicius, secured all three points for the 15-time European champions.

After going home with the Man of the Match award, the 2024 Ballon d'Or favourite declared that he wants to be at Real "forever".

"The main thing is that we believed in ourselves. This is our house, full of our fans, and in those circumstances absolutely anything can happen," he told Movistar.

"Things were very quiet when we got to the dressing room 2-0 down at half-time. But we listened to the boss and agreed on one simple thing: if we can score first, then we'll fight back and win once again.

"I want to thank the fans for sticking with us because we know we have to improve – our aim is to play like we did in the second half right from the start every week.

"The boss always finds the right way to make matches simpler for us. We changed formation, but also the dynamics in the second half. This is our competition, and make no mistake, we want to win it again.

"Ancelotti always tells me I've got more to give – I'm 24 and I want to stay with Madrid forever. I want to give everything back to a club which has given me so much."

Vinicius and his teammates will now spend the next few days preparing for ElClasico in LALIGA this weekend.

Los Blancos are currently second on the Spanish table, behind Hansi Flick's in-form Barcelona, who will host Bayern Munich in Europe on Wednesday night.
