The story

Orlando Pirates baller Patrick Maswanganyi responded to critics about his showboating by doubling down in his the Soweto giants' 3-0 win over Polokwane City.

All three goals came in the second half for Jose Riveiro's men, courtesy of the in-form Monnapule Saleng and a brace from substitute Evidence Makgopa.

"Tito" added plenty of excitement in Pirates' convincing win over Rise Shine at Orlando Stadium, sending the crowd into delirium with his dribbling on a couple of occasions.

Maswanganyi was clearly unperturbed by the legend Jomo Sono's recent remarks about his Kasi Flava antics and stayed true to his game as Orlando Pirates' chief creator in the attacking midfield role.

Royal AM chairman Andile Mpisane made his third successive start in the Betway Premiership in his team's 0-0 draw against Richards Bay FC at the Harry Gwala Stadium on Tuesday night.

The 23-year-old, donning the famous number 10, also started Thwihli Thwahla's 0-0 draw against SuperSport United at TUT Stadium last Saturday, as well as their goalless league opener against Cape Town City.

Mpisane had less than 10 touches in his 45 minutes on the field, showcasing his flair with two moments of showboating, including sitting down while in possession and executing a no-look pass.
