The Reds icon is currently in the final year of his contract at Anfield, and it remains to be seen whether or not he will commit his future to the English giants.

The Pharaohs captain is having a brilliant start to the new season, having scored three goals and provided three assists in his opening four league matches, but talks over an extension are said to not yet have commenced.

The 2024/25 season could thus be the end of Salah's seven-year career with the Merseysiders, but whether or not he were to leave, another Egyptian could be brought in by the Merseysiders.

According to teamTALK, the six-time European champions are one of a number of Premier League clubs that are keen to sign 25-year-old Omar Marmoush from Eintracht Frankfurt.

London clubs such as Arsenal, Crystal Palace and West Ham United are also understood to be eager to land his services after he emerged as one of the new stars of the Bundesliga.

The Cairo native joined the Eagles last season, and has steadily been increasing his goal contributions ever since.

During the 2023/24 season, in all competitions, Marmoush scored 17 goals in 39 matches, and this season he already has three goals and three assists in four matches.

This past weekend, the winger was named in the Bundesliga Team of the Week too.
