AS Vita Coach Abdeslam Ouaddou announced his resignation in the press conference after the loss to Stellenbosch FC on Friday evening.
The Congolese side suffered a 2-0 defeat to Stellenbosch in the first leg of their CAF Confederation Cup second preliminary round.
There had already been issues for the Vita coach, who had clash with supporters at halftime at DHL Stadium.
The supporters responded by throwing bottles at the French-born tactician, who made his way down the tunnel.
After the game, Ouaddou announced to the media that he will be resigning from his post due to the club's 'unprofessionalism'.
The coach revealed the team only arrived in South Africa on Friday morning at 04h00.
