Brazil Announce Squad For WC Qualifiers, 5 Stars Snubbed!

Brazil have announced their squad for next month's 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers, but a number of high-profile names have been snubbed.

Selecao return to action in September after a disappointing Copa America campaign, where they were dumped out at the quarter-final stage.

Eder Militao, Rodrygo Goes and Vinicius Jr have kept their spot in the squad along with Endrick, who is yet to feature for Real Madrid this season.

There was no place in the squad for Raphinha, Casemiro, Antony, Gabriel Martinelli and Richarlison while joint all-time leading scorer Neymar remains out as he recovers from injury.

The five-time World Cup winners will be facing Ecuador on 7 September before tacking Paraguay four days later.
