The story
The Amakhosi faithful was left disappointed with the start of Nasereddine Nabi era in the inaugural Toyota Cup, between Kaizer Chiefs and Young Africans, at the Toyota Stadium in Bloemfontein on Sunday, which ended in a 4-0 thrashing in favour of the Tanzanian champions.
Bloem football fans got to enjoy a legends exhibition match as a curtain raiser, as the Amakhosi legends beat Bloemfontein Celtic legends 2-1.
In both encounters, fans were treated to goals and plenty of Kasi Flava from legends Mark Mayambela, Jabu Mahlangu and from Mfundo Vilakazi in the main game.
In the legends match, which featured the likes of Siyabonga 'Bhele' Nomvethe, Siphiwe Tshabalala, Reneilwe Letsholonyane, Siphiwe Tshabalala and Doctor Khumalo, with Mahlangu turning back the years with some dazzling Kasi Flava dribbling.
Vintage Mark Mayambela put on quite the Kasi Flava display in the colours of Bloemfontein Celtics, rocking arguably the greatest boots of all time, the Copa Mundials.

For his first game on South African soil, Nabi opted to give some rising stars a chance, with Mfundo Vilakazi joined by another teenager, Nkosana Mbuthu and two other Chiefs Youth Academy graduates, Samkelo Zwane and Mduduzi Shabalala.
Although Amakhosi were up against it against a rampant Yanga side, Vilakazi still placed himself in the highlight reel with some standout Kasi Flava moments:
