Mnguni: Mudau Shouldn't Follow Mokwena To Wydad

Mnguni: Mudau Shouldn't Follow Mokwena To Wydad

In an exclusive interview with Soccer Laduma, former Mamelodi Sundowns midfielder Bennett Mnguni, who has experience playing in Russia, weighed in on Mudau's potential career choices. Mnguni strongly advocates for Mudau to pursue opportunities in Europe, particularly England, believing it aligns best with his playing style and career growth.

"Khuliso (Mudau) is a quality player. I don't think he should go to Morocco. His first choice should be England. He deserves to play there with his quality. It's good that he has interest all over but England should come first. Then maybe France as well. The league there is also on a higher level. In England he also has the chance of playing in the Champions League or the Europa League. The same can happen in France. So, let him go to Europe," Mnguni told the Siya crew.

Mnguni also highlighted the broader implications of Mudau's potential move to Europe for South African football.

"We need to export more players to Europe. That will be helping our country in developing and improving the national team. That's why I am saying that Khuliso (Mudau) should go to Europe. That will improve his game as well. We know that every player in South Africa or Africa dreams of playing in Europe so that's where Mudau should go to improve his game," Mnguni concluded.

The decision ahead for Mudau is pivotal. With options in Morocco, where he could reunite with Mokwena, and potential offers from England and France, his choice will undoubtedly influence his career trajectory and potentially the future of South African football on the international stage.

As the situation develops, the football community will be watching closely to see where this talented right-back will land. Will he stay at Sundowns, or will he opt for the familiarity of working with Mokwena in Morocco or venture into the challenging yet rewarding arenas of European football?
