The Red Devils confirmed the arrival of talented 18-year-old centre-back Leny Yoro from Lille, making him their second acquisition of the window after Joshua Zirkzee.

United's structural changes following INEOS' minority takeover appear to bearing fruit, with football transfer expert Fabrizio Romano claiming Paris Saint-Germain's Manuel Ugarte is also keen to join the club.

The 23-year-old midfielder has reportedly agreed personal terms with the 20-time champions ahead of the coming season.

Ugarte, a Uruguayan international, is represented by super-agent Jorge Mendes, who also represents Yoro.

Romano says "club-to-club talks continue" as the two teams look to find common ground over a transfer fee.

He has also since reported that last term's FA Cup winners are open to selling Casemiro or Scott McTominay to make way for Ugarte, who only signed for PSG in 2023.

It is unclear at this point how much United are willing to spend on the midfielder's signature, with Transfermarkt valuing him at €45 million (R895.2 million).
