According to Al Bawaba News, the 30-year-old is set to return to action for the Red Devils when they go up against Pyramids on Friday.

Their upcoming opponents are currently at the top of the Egyptian Premier League, 11 points in front of Al Ahly who have four matches in hand.

It is said Tau has recovered from a hamstring strain he sustained on international duty with Bafana Bafana in June.

Striker Mahmoud Kahraba is also reportedly due to return for the Club of the Century following his suspension.

Al Ahly go into Friday's top-of-the-table clash having last suffered a league defeat in March.

Meanwhile, for Pyramids, former PSL forward Fagrie Lakay has been in excellent goalscoring form.
