Mamelodi Sundowns have opened talks with Kobamelo Kodisang and the Siya crew has been given insight into the plans they have for the former Platinum Stars winger.
News emerged on Tuesday that Sundowns have moved swiftly to secure the signature of the former national under-23 player, with a deal set to be confirmed in the coming days.

According to an insider, early discussions are underway between Sundowns and the player's camp and a deal is expected to be completed soon.
With the signing of players such as Tashreeq Matthews (23) and Zuko Mdunyelwa (24) earlier this year, Sundowns are already looking to the future to ensure they have a strong core of players they can rely on in the future.
At 24, Kodisang is one of those players Sundowns believe have a bright future ahead and there is a good chance of him getting spotted again when the Tshwane giants take part in the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup, should it go ahead as planned.
It's understood that the player is determined to break into the Bafana Bafana squad and believes that a move back to the PSL could open the door to catching the eye of national team coach Hugo Broos.

Despite being overseas for the last few years, the former Bidvest Wits player has not been able to get into the national team and that is one of his goals, especially with Bafana currently in a good position in the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.
Kodisang could also look forward to an overseas pre-season trip with Sundowns. Saudi Arabian club Al Hilal have confirmed that they would take on the South Africans in a friendly match on Friday, 26 July. The game is set to take place in Austria as part of both club's respective summer camps, and the Brazilians could face star players such as Neymar, Kalidou Koulibaly and Ruben Neves.
