Kaizer Chiefs are expected to make a decision on influential defender Edmilson Dove regarding his future, sources have confirmed to the Siya crew.
As confirmed by close sources, Dove will see his deal with Amakhosi officially finish at the end of the month as that is the case with some of his teammates at the Naturena outfit.

The 29-year-old has been with the Soweto giants since 2022, having arrived from UD Songo of Mozambique where he had a stint after leaving Cape Town City.
Despite being disrupted by injury, Dove has proven to be one of the most influential players for Chiefs although the team's results have been disappointing in recent times.
Indications have been that the Soweto giants would be willing to offer the centre-back an extension to his contract to be part of their rebuilding in the new season.
However, like some of his teammates who are waiting on the club about their futures, a decision has been put on hold on Dove, at least for now.
"The plan has been for the player to have his contract extended by the club. But it's a waiting game for now as nothing has been finalised," said the source.
It should be noted that when Chiefs announced Dove's signing in August 2022, it was confirmed that there is a one-year option on the deal.

As widely reported in the media, Chiefs are believed to be waiting for the appointment of a new coach before focusing on player contracts and other plans for the new season.
Dove was the only Amakhosi representative at the Africa Cup of Nations in Ivory Coast earlier in the year with his inclusion in the squad for Mozambique.
