The story
Banyana Banyana and Mamelodi Sundowns goalkeeper Andile Dlamini looks set to complete a project that started back in 2021.
Three years ago, Dlamini tweeted that she'd saved up enough money to buy her parents a plot of land, something that took her six years to save up for.
Dlamini shared old clips of the her in the Mamelodi Sundowns documentary, "Banyana Ba Style" (available on Netflix). She was followed to her family home in Winterveld by the camera crew, detailing what she'd built at that time.
"We moved from Kempton Park to Tembisa, when in Tembisa, my parents got divorced. My late dad and mother got divorced and then there were complications so, we needed to move out with my savings," Dlamini can be heard in the documentary, where she shows the small place here and siblings had to say in when she bought the plot of land.
She then shows the documentary camera crew a small part of the house that was still a work-in-progress, before laying out her plans to build a big home with a pool for her mom, step father and siblings.
