With Soweto giants, Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates understood to be having goalkeeping on top of the list of their planning for next season, Angolan goalkeeper Adilson Cipriano da Cruz could be one of the players they might look at, according to informants.
Chiefs have veteran goalkeeper Itumeleng Khune unlikely to have his playing contract extended when it expires at the end of next month, as per the club's confirmation when his previous contract extension was finalised last year, while Pirates' Siyabonga Mpontshane and Richard Ofori are facing uncertain futures with the club, according to sources.

Neblu, as Da Cruz is affectionately known, has been playing for Angolan giants Primeiro de Agosto and doing well since joining the club in 2018.
The 30-year-old was in the Angola national team that reached the quarter-finals of the Africa Cup of Nations in Ivory Coast earlier this year.
Having spent all of his career playing in Angola since turning professional over 14 years ago, Neblu could be set for a switch to the PSL in his next deal, with the indications from close sources that the PSL's big guns have been made aware of his availability.
"I can confirm to you that Adilson Cipriano da Cruz, who is also known as Neblu has triggered interest in the PSL. The player's handlers are currently in talks with at least three teams at the moment and yes, they are big clubs in the league," said the source.

"Neblu is a top goalkeeper and at 30 years old he has reached maturity. He has been in the national team of Angola set up since 2012, either the A team or the CHAN side that he has captained for many times. His top performances at the recent AFCON in Cote d'Ivoire were proof of his remarkable progress although his impressive work was overshadowed by the red card he got against Namibia," the informant said.
Commenting on a potential PSL move, the goalkeeper said, "I am ready for any good offers, and I would like to play in South Africa."
At the time of publishing, the Siya crew had been yet to receive communication from both Chiefs and Pirates on the request for them to comment on the goalkeeper link.
