The story

Things got heated quickly after the full-time whistle at the Mbombela Stadium in TS Galaxy's thrilling encounter with champions, Mamelodi Sundowns.

Mamelodi Sundowns edged closer to Invincible status with a 1-1 draw against the Rockets, an encounter that seemed to be on a knife-edge from the first 20 minutes.

Rulani Mokwena's squad aims to etch their name in South African football history by completing the season undefeated, a feat never achieved before in the country and that unbeaten run was under threat.

Galaxy took the lead in the 78th-minute through Puso Dithejane, with Peter Shalulile equalising just moments later to restore parity.

After the full-time whistle, things got heated between Galaxy boss, Sead Ramovic and a member of Mamelodi Sundowns' technical staff nearly coming to blows:

Both Rulani and Ramovic had some fiery words in their post-match interviews. The former calling the match the worst game of football he's ever been involved in from a lot of aspects, while the latter goaded the Sundowns boss further by suggesting he should further is coaching qualifications and maybe sign Kylian Mbappe, Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo to be able to beat his team.

They two coaches seemed to have exchanged some words from afar after their post-match interviews, with the police having to separate members of both teams.
