The 22-year-old has spent the 2023/24 season on loan at Getafe in Spain, where he has contributed to an impressive 16 goals in 35 appearances.
Greenwood, who is expected to return to the Red Devils at the end of the campaign, started in Getafe's 1-0 defeat to Deportivo Alaves on Saturday.
The match was briefly suspended in the 18th minute when match official Jorge Figueroa Vazquez paused the game amid "Greenwood, die" chants coming from the home crowd.
Alaves' stadium announcer called for fans to stop the chants aimed at the forward, who was arrested in January 2022 on suspicion of attempted rape and abuse.
It was not the first time this term the one-time England international has been subjected to such abuse from supporters in the country, with Getafe's manager Jose Bordalas having spoken out about the issue on a number of occasions.
Greenwood was acquitted of the charges he faced at the start of 2023, but United made the decision behind the scenes to continue keeping the striker away from football-related activities at Carrington.
