Real Madrid are on the brink of securing the LaLiga title after defeating Cadiz 3-0 at the Santiago Bernabeu on Saturday evening.

Result: Real Madrid 3-0 Cadiz

Venue: Santiago Bernabeu

Goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois made his long-awaited return to the time after tearing his ACL before the start of the current season, Eduardo Camavinga is brought into the midfield as Aurelien Tchouameni dropped out.

Los Blancos knew coming into the clash that the league tile could be wrapped up this weekend if they secured maximum points against Cadiz and Barcelona dropped points against Girona on Sunday.

Carlo Ancelotti's charges dominated from the onset, with the hosts managing to carve out a couple half chances but they were unable to trouble Cadiz shot-stopper Conan Ledesma in the opening 15 minutes.

Cadiz nearly got the breakthrough ten minutes before the halftime break when Ramos was slipped through on goal on the counter-attack, but the forward was denied by a last-ditch tackle by Nacho Fernandez.

Los Blancos only needed six minutes to get the breakthrough in the second half as Brahim Diaz collected a pass from Luka Modric before curling a wonderful strike past Ledesma and into the far corner.

Ancelotti opted to introduce Jude Bellingham on 66 minutes for Arda Guler and the England international made an immediate impact when he doubled the lead two minutes later after turning home a low cross from Brahim Diaz.

The home side nearly added a third goal in the final 20 minutes when Fran Garcia sent a first-time cross towards striker Joselu, who missed the crosses by inches with the goal at his mercy.

Nevertheless, Ancelotti's men were able to see out the clash and claim a third goal when Nacho raced clear into the box and unselfishly teed up Joselu for the simple tap in.

Los Blancos can officially clinch the league title if Barcelona fail to beat Girona on Sunday.
