What's the story?
Buccaneers midfielder Miguel Timm was one of the big names in fashion designer Thebe Magugu's HERITAGE III Capsule collection, which also included a short film.
Timm, who was one of the main models for Orlando Pirates' Thebe Magugu-designed kits, is the only footballer fronting the collection alongside stars such as Dr John Kani and Ama Qamata.

Timm models for Thebe Magugu
Since 2022, prominent fashion designer, Thebe Magugu has released his Heritage capsule collection annually, described by British Vogue as "a vibrant tribute to his South African roots."
Magugu's latest Heritage collection, which explores the tradition of Lobola, is fronted by what the designer descibes as "18 South African leaders — from Professor Thuli Madonsela B.V.O to Dr. John Kani O.B.E — each of whom have spearheaded their respective fields with their talents, skills and minds - whether its in law, film, photography, literature, business, sports, culinary arts or art."
As per Vogue, the casting process was central to Magugu's vision for this campaign, in which he enlisted the services of a diverse set of influential voices from various sectors of the country.
This line-up, with Miguel Timm, includes notable figures such as Blood Water actress Ama Qamata; veteran actor Thapelo Mokoena; businesswoman Nunu Ntshingila, musician Tresor Riziki, actress Nomzamo Mbatha, entertainer Boity, rapper Priddy Ugly and visual artist Trevor Stuurman among others.

Timm is the only athlete in the cast, showing just how much the award-winning designer Magugu valued the player's modelling skills in collaboration with Orlando Pirates.
It's also a major moment for football/fashion agenda, which is seeing more footballers being confident with their personal style and being embraced by the fashion world.
"I appreciate every single moment of being part of this impactful project on depicting our South African Heritage. Such a pleasure working with you @ThebeMagugu, well done on your beautiful work," wrote the Bucs midfielder on Instagram.
