Eden Hazard has broken his silence on his relationship with Toni Kroos after the German midfielder said the Belgian let his career "die" at Real Madrid.

In June last year, the 34-year-old midfielder was speaking about the ex-Chelsea winger on his own podcast, called Einfach mal Luppen, when he suggested Hazard proved to be a waste of money for the European giants.
While he did not explicitly name the since-retired footballer, it was widely accepted that Kroos was talking about the former Belgium captain, who scored just seven goals in 76 matches for Los Blancos between 2019 and 2023.
Hazard, however, has cleared the air and insisted he still has a good relationship with Kroos despite those comments, saying the ex-Bayern Munich player recently picked his kids up from his house.
"Sometimes there is nothing to explain! Things happen because they happen," he said on John Obi Mikel's The Obi One Podcast, according to the Daily Mail.
"No! He came to my house yesterday to pick up his kids. There is no problem with that! See?! John Obi Mikel still talk bulls*** to me and I'm still here doing his podcast.
"I don't care, man! People can think what they want."
Hazard joined Real from Chelsea in 2019 for a club-record fee of €115 million (R2.3 billion), and made just 54 appearances in LALIGA before mutually agreeing the termination of his deal in 2023.
