What's the story? 

EA Sports has revealed the men's and women's EA FC 24 TOTY squads, with 12th Player votes still open. 

As has been the case since FIFA 21, the TOTY promo has been open to a public vote ahead of the reveal, allowing Ultimate Team gamers to pick the players they think deserve a spot in the prestigious TOTY squad.

EA FC 24 TOTY

EA Sports have revealed the official EA FC 24 TOTY squads for both men's and women's football. The public vote closed earlier last week, with the attacking players being available as packs first, and have now been replaced by the midfielders.

Both TOTY squads were leaked ahead of the official EA reveal along with some EA FC 24 TOTY Icons, and the TOTY Icons are now available on Ultimate Team, including Brazilian legend Ronaldo and French legendary winger Frank Ribery among others.

The Men's TOTY is headlined by eight-time Ballon d'Or winner Lionel Messi, lethal Manchester City marksman Erling Haaland, French football's crown jewel Kylian Mbappe and England's brightest midfield prodigy, Jude Bellingham. 

Messi, Haaland and Mbappe are the highest rated players in the men's TOTY, each boasting an overall rating of 97... 

On the women's team; Barcelona's Ballon d'Or winner Aitana Bonmati is joined by her Women's World Cup-winning teammates: Alexia Putellas and Ona Batlle. 

US prodigy Sophia Smith is the only USWNT player in the TOTY side and lines up next to Australia and Chelsea goal machine, Sam Kerr.
