Kylian Mbappe's future at Paris Saint-Germain is reportedly unclear amid rumours he is struggling to get along with club head coach Luis Enrique.

With just under two weeks to go until the turn of the year, the France captain is close to being able to enter into negotiations with other clubs ahead of the expiration of his contract in June 2024.
At this point, due to an apparent frosty relationship with Spanish boss Enrique, it appears uncertain as to whether or not PSG will be able convince him to extend his stay at the Parc des Princes.
According to AS, the pair's newest tiff started after the former Barcelona manager instructed his players to maintain possession towards the end of their 1-1 draw with Borussia Dortmund in the UEFA Champions League last week.
While that result was ultimately enough for PSG to advance from their group, Mbappe was said to be annoyed that his teammates were not allowed to push for a winner in Germany.
Speaking in the aftermath of the game, Enrique explained why he and his coaching staff ordered the team to play conservatively.
"I understand Mbappe is annoyed. But it's me who gives orders to the team. It was one of the best decisions of my career, telling my players: Milan are winning 2-1 at Newcastle in 88th minute, no need to take risks," he said.
"We have to try score of course, but if you look, we go into Dortmund's area after around 2/3 times. It was obviously a big decision but it wasn't just my decision, it was also that of my staff, even if I have the last word."
Matters were then said to escalate this past weekend when Mbappe barely celebrated his goal in a 1-1 draw with Lille amid rumours he was unhappy to be playing as the team's striker.
Enrique later stated that "Kylian will play where he decides", which some have interpreted as the manager's hint as to the power the 24-year-old holds behind the scenes at PSG.

While the abovementioned publication claims club sources have played down suggestions of a rift between Mbappe and Enrique, there is not a lot of optimism that the Real Madrid-linked player will be in Paris for much longer.
