Pitso To Chiefs: Show Me The Vision!

Pitso Mosimane has seemingly made the first move amid talk of a possible switch to Kaizer Chiefs, if his latest statement is anything to go by.

Mosimane, who is currently without a club, says he would be open to a move to Amakhosi if his and the club's visions are aligned.

The coach was answering questions about his future, when talks of a move to Naturena came about. Not only did Mosimane speak glowingly of the Glamour Boys, with whom he shares a deep affinity having supported the club as a young boy - but he has opened up the door for the club's management to approach him.

"If Maritzburg United, who are relegated now calls me and say, bring back the team to the Premier League, I'll just go back and get the file that I brought back the biggest team in Saudi Arabia, Al Ahli, not Al Ahly Egypt, back to the Premier League," he told KayaFM's T-Bose

"They have [Roberto] Firmino of Liverpool, [Riyaad] Mahrez now, just three weeks after I've departed. Edouard [Mendy] the goalkeeper (formerly) of Chelsea.

"So, I'll go anywhere, I'm a professional. As long as you show me the vision and we are aligned, any team I'll go work for it because I want to have the energy, I don't want to wake up and do it for the sake of doing it. I need to say, 'why do I want to do this?'

"You ask me about Kaizer Chiefs, what an institution! I mean I supported the team when I was young," he said in part.

Mosimane said that he would be open to returning to the dugout in January as he looks to enjoy some respite with his family this December period and has seemingly opened the door to Chiefs.

It now remains to be seen if Chiefs now follow up the coach's advances.
