Former Manchester City striker Mario Balotelli was involved in a car crash on Thursday night that reportedly left his Audi destroyed.

According to the Daily Mirror, the 33-year-old lost control of his vehicle and drove into a wall near his hometown in Brescia near 20:30 on Thursday.
It is claimed Balotelli, currently on the books of Turkish club Adana Demirspor, managed to climb out of the car before being treated by paramedics, but escaped serious injury.
Pictures circulating on social media have shown the extent of the damage done to his Audi.

As per a report from SportMediaSet, the ex-Liverpool, AC Milan and Inter Milan man did not want to take a breathalyser test after police requested him to do so.
His brother Enock Barwuah reportedly arrived on the scene later to take him home after the footballer was given the all-clear.

Balotelli was said to have been given permission from Adana Demirspor to return home during his recovery from a knee injury.
