Report: How Much Ronaldo Has Already Earned In Saudi

Here is reportedly how much money Cristiano Ronaldo has earned since joining Al Nassr in the Saudi Pro League.

With Cristiano Ronaldo causing a stir this week with his reaction to Lionel Messi's latest Ballon d'Or victory, here is how much money the superstar has reportedly earned at Al Nassr since taking his career to Saudi Arabia.

The 38-year-old was left out of the Ballon d'Or 30-man nominees list announced earlier this year by France Football, but his name was still very much in the conversation when Messi collected the 2023 Golden Ball on Monday night in Paris.

His eighth triumph means the Argentine has claimed the individual accolade three times more than his long-time rival, who was last voted winner of the award in 2017 while on Real Madrid's books.

In what appeared to be a cheeky response left in the comments section of a recent social media post, Ronaldo appeared to make his feelings clear on Messi's achievement, which was ultimately brought on by his 2022 FIFA World Cup victory with the Albiceleste.

According to the Daily Mirror, though, it is the Middle East-based superstar who remains the world's highest-paid footballer following his arrival at Al Nassr as a free agent in January.

The publication reports that 10 months into his deal, the five-time Ballon d'Or has already earned an astonishing £147.5 million (R3.3 billion) in wages, a total that will exceed £530 million (R11.9 billion) should he see out the full length of his deal.

That total number, however, is also expected to increase with advertising and sponsorship deals.

Ronaldo has been in excellent form for Al Nassr this season so far, having scored 11 goals in the Saudi Pro League and assisted six more strikes in just 10 appearances.
