Kaizer Chiefs interim coach Cavin Johnson has opened up on another costly mistake by Brandon Petersen after their defeat against Golden Arrows.
Amakhosi seemed to have the match against Arrows under control in the first stanza and had to chase the game in Johnson's first match in charge, after Petersen could not deal with a back pass, as he failed to control the ball and left it for Knox Mutizwa to score into an empty net.

The Glamour Boys managed to respond three minutes later through an equaliser by Sifiso Hlanti but Abafana Bes'thende seized their momentum, as Mutizwa restored their lead early in the second stanza and completed his brace.
Petersen had made similar errors under former coach Molefi Ntseki this season, notably in two games against Mamelodi Sundowns in the Premiership and the MTN8 semi-final second-leg.
Johnson says they will try to fix the former Bidvest Wits goalkeepers' mistakes and took the blame for all the errors they made against the KwaZulu-Natal side.
"Ja, if it has happened before, then we're gonna try and fix it but the way I look at it now he's gonna come back, he's made the mistake and that's the first mistake I look at," Johnson told journalists after the game.
"Because every mistake now is my mistake. I take the blame for everything that happened (against Arrows), everything you asked me about yesterday (before the Arrows game) I wasn't there," he said.
Chiefs under former coach Ntseki tried to bring veteran goalkeeper Itumeleng Khune in goal but the club had not fared any better and continued to concede and lose matches, as Khune was in goal when they were eliminated by AmaZulu in the first round of the Carling Knockout.
There have been suggestions from supporters for Johnson to give goalkeeper Bruce Bvuma a chance.
The Glamour Boys will be back in action next Wednesday, 8 November when they host Cape Town Spurs before the big clash against Orlando Pirates in the Soweto derby three days later, both matches at FNB Stadium.
