One of the sons of a Manchester United legend has reportedly switched his international allegiance, with the youngster considered a top talent.

According to the Daily Mirror, Darren Fletcher's son Tyler has chosen to represent Scotland at international level after initially having represented England, along with his brother Jack.

The two players both left Manchester City's academy earlier this year to join the Red Devils' academy, and have been tipped as high-potential young players.

Tyler helped England's U16 side win the Montaigu Tournament in April, but now appears to be favouring a professional career with Scotland after playing for their U17 side against Belarus this past weekend.

Jack, his brother, has also represented both England and Scotland at youth level, but did not play against Belarus on Saturday.

Their father Darren, currently United's technical director, is widely considered a legend when it comes to Scotland's senior men's team, after he captained the side and amassed 80 appearances for them over the course of his career.

Tyler and Jack joined United earlier this year for around £1.25 million (R28 million), in a move they were believed to be persuaded to make by their dad, who won 13 trophies at the English giants between 2003 and 2015.
