One of Real Madrid's highest-paid players has been linked with a shock swap-deal departure from the Santiago Bernabeu.

According to Spanish publication Defensa Central, German giants Bayern Munich are heavily interested in France international Aurelien Tchouameni.
The central midfielder has been linked with an exit from the 14-time UEFA Champions League winners since the transfer window at the start of the 2023/24 campaign, despite just joining Real last year.
This has reportedly led to the Bavarians offering left-back Alphonso Davies in a direct and straightforward swap deal, with the Canada international having been the subject of interest from Los Blancos in recent years.
The 22-year-old has been a mainstay at fullback for Bayern since his arrival from Vancouver Whitecaps in 2019, having already made 164 appearance in all competitions for the club.
Reports suggest that Davies is keen to join the LALIGA giants as he is looking for a new adventure, with Real believed to be desperate to strengthen their left-back position.
However, it remains uncertain as to whether or not Tchouameni would be open to leaving Real after previously refuting claims he is unsettled in the Spanish capital.

The midfielder has amassed 61 appearances for the club since his arrival from Monaco last year.
