It has been widely speculated that the Bondy native will finally bid farewell to hometown club Paris Saint-Germain at the end of this season.

The 24-year-old has spent the past six years at the Parc des Princes, but with the attacker poised to see out the remaining months of his current deal, this is rumoured to be his final campaign at the club.

A number of European giants have been mooted as possible destinations for the forward, but a team 1998 World Cup winner Frank LeBoeuf believes has little chance of signing him is Liverpool.

"Manchester City or Bayern Munich could potentially move for Mbappe, but I think those two clubs already have great players," the ex-defender told CasinosEnLigne.com.

"I think Liverpool could be an option, but I'm not sure Mbappe will want to live there! That's all due respect to the Scousers!"

The ex-central defender, who played in the English top flight with Chelsea for five years, has given his former side even less of a chance to land PSG's all-time top goalscorer.

"Let's be realistic – Chelsea are a mid-table club. Attracting players will be tough and players like Mbappe won't want to come.

"The big players want to play in the Champions League. Arsenal had that problem for years, and so did Manchester United.

"Top players won't come to Chelsea because the club has fallen. It's unbelievable to see what the club has become just two years on from their Champions League win.

"I'm disgusted with it. I have nothing against Todd Boehly, but they need to change things quickly or else they'll kill the club."
