Chiefs Coach: It Leaves Us With A Huge Assignment

With two losses in his opening three games of the season, Kaizer Chiefs coach Molefi Ntseki has revealed what is needed for his squad to turn the corner in search of positive results.

Ntseki's men went down 1-0 to a spirited TS Galaxy side at Mbombela Stadium on Sunday to record their first-ever league win over Amakhosi.

The start to the campaign has been slow for coach Ntseki and his men, who are left to return to the proverbial drawing board, with AmaZulu (home) and Stellenbosch (away) lying in wait.

When asked what needs to change in terms of his squad, Ntseki hailed the attitude of his players – but revealed there are areas in which the team needs to improve tactically.

"I think the most important thing was for us to do a squad audit, we have brought in some good quality players and the mood in the camp is good. I think it's just unfortunate that we were expecting good results out of this," he told SuperSport.

"I think in terms of the attitude it's very good. The players are looking forward to a good season because we are having a very good mood in the camp.

"Tactically, we are still working on different formations in terms of the players coming on from the bench and those coming on from the grandstand. But I think today it leaves us with a huge assignment in terms of how do we prepare going forward."
