What's the story?

It's almost time for the new season to get underway and hip-hop mogul DJ Khaled has propped up his favourite South African team, Mamelodi Sundowns.

In a video shared by both the Brazilians and their Roc Nation affiliates, DJ Khaled has urged the club to "get another trophy" for what will be another busy campaign for Rulani Mokwena's men.

Let's take a closer look...

DJ Khaled shows love to Sundowns AGAIN!

Any doubt over DJ Khaled's support for Sundowns seems to have diminished after the famed Hip-hop producer gave his backing to Ka Bo Yellow ahead of the new season.

The reigning DStv Premiership champions kick-off their title defence against a tricky Sekhukhune United side away from home at the Peter Mokaba Stadium.

DJ Khaled's message will surely give Mokwena's troop that extra motivation to perform after "God Did" hitmaker urged Masandawana to go earn some silverware this season.

"Sundowns, the new season is kicking off now, let's get another trophy, another one," says the famous music producer.

Take a look:

Not long ago, DJ Khaled congratulated Masandawana for their sixth consecutive DStv Premiership title, which was wrapped up with more than five games to go.

His tag line of "Another One" could be a motivational tool for Sundowns, who aim to not only retain the league crown, but also chase a CAF Champions League title.
