Amakhosi took to social media to thank Tanzanian giants Yanga SC and its supporters for warmly hosting them last week.
After losing 1-0 to Yanga in a pre-season friendly on Saturday evening, Chiefs were treated to a visit to Zanzibar the following day and met the President.

Chiefs thank Yanga
It seems like Kaizer Chiefs and Yanga SC have formed a new friendship after the Soweto giants' recent visit to the East African nation.
Not only did the Glamour Boys receive plenty of love from the Yanga SC faithful at a sold-out Benjamin Mkapa Stadium, they also enjoyed a fabulous trip to Zanzibar.
The club paid a visit to President of the Revolutionary Government of Zanzibar, Dr. Hussein Mwinyi and Fatma Karume, who was the wife of the First President of Zanzibar, the late Abeid Aman Karume.
The Chiefs players and staff also took in some amazing ocean views and went on a boat ride, where they were warmly embraced by enthusiastic locals.
"Amakhosi would also like to express our appreciation to the Young Africans SC fans supporters and fans who cheered us on during the matches. Your enthusiasm added an extra layer of excitement to the whole event, making it an unforgettable experience for everyone involved," the club posted on Twitter.
Yanga SC's president replied, "Thank you very much @KaizerChiefs for accepting our invitation. This is the beginning of our cooperation in the development of football as a whole," wrote Hersi Ally Said.
