There has reportedly been a major update on Harry Kane's future at Tottenham Hotspur.

Last month, it was reported that the London-based club rejected a bid for the 29-year-old from Bayern Munich worth €70 million (R1.4 billion).
Kane has one year remaining on his contract in England and is said to be unwilling to extend his deal at the Lilywhites amid interest from some of Europe's biggest sides.
Manchester United had previously been linked with the striker, who scored 30 goals in the Premier League this past season, but it is Bayern strongly pursuing his signature.
The Bundesliga champions are believed to have now submitted a second formal offer for Kane in a deal reportedly worth €80 million (R1.6 billion).
However, reports suggest Spurs are in no mood to part ways with their all-time record goalscorer, who found himself in trouble with chairman Daniel Levy following his attempts to push for a move to Manchester City in 2021.
Thomas Tuchel is determined to land Kane's signature, but his attempts to sign the forward have reportedly infuriated Levy and his board.

It is therefore expected that Spurs will not be open to discuss Kane's potential departure at this time, even with his contract expiring in June next year.
