Spurs 'Fuming' With Certain Club Over Exit Talks With Kane

Tottenham Hotspur chiefs are reportedly angry with a certain European giant after they went behind their backs to tempt star player Harry Kane with an exit away.

England's all-time top goalscorer's future remains a contentious topic, with a number of Europe's top sides highly interested in the 29-year-old's services.

One of those is Bayern Munich, and while the Bavarians have had an opening bid of €70 million (R1.4 billion) rejected, the 34-time Bundesliga champions have remained persistent, and it seems that perseverance has rubbed Spurs chairman Daniel Levy up the wrong way.

The English executive is a notoriously difficult negotiator and Bayern's latest tactics have reportedly angered the 61-year-old. According to Sport Bild, Levy is upset at the German giants for circumventing negotiations with the club and speaking directly to Kane for some time now.

The Bundesliga side's head coach, Thomas Tuchel, is rumoured to have already had face-to-face talks with the three-time Premier League Golden Boot winner, something the Spurs chief considers a no-go, especially given that the playmaking forward is believed to have already agreed to make the switch to the Allianz Arena.

It is said that Levy wishes to make Bayern pay for their perceived overstepping. Die Roten were expected to make a second bid of €100 million (R2 billion) for Kane soon, but it is now claimed that even that figure will be rejected by the north Londoners, with the Premier League side wanting to punish the German club for their behaviour concerning the forward.

The same report suggests that Spurs would move for Victor Osimhen as Kane's replacement should he leave, but with it being reported that the Nigerian is not keen on a move to the eight-time FA Cup winners, this puts doubt into whether or not the club would be willing to sell their English superstar.
