On Wednesday afternoon, the 20-time English champions welcomed the 24-year-old to Old Trafford on a five-year deal from the Blues, the club he had spent 18 years at since his arrival as a youngster.

Mount was reportedly signed for £60 million (R1.4 billion) and has been handed the No. 7 jersey, a number that was left vacant by Cristiano Ronaldo following his departure halfway through the past season.

According to 90min, the England international will earn £250 000 (R5.1 million) a week in Manchester, making him one of the team's five highest earners as things stand, with David de Gea's contract issue still being resolved.

Here is where Mount will reportedly rank among United's 11 highest-paid players, according to 90min:

The Spanish goalkeeper, at the moment, is no longer on United's payroll after his deal expired last month, leaving the struggling Jadon Sancho at the top of the salary ranking at the Theatre of Dreams and Raphael Varane in second place.

Mount is expected to be paid more than vice-captain Bruno Fernandes, who reportedly earns £240 000 (R4.9 million) every week in the Premier League.
