FC Barcelona manager Xavi Hernandez has responded to the explosive comments made by Ansu Fati's earlier this week.
Bori Fati made some surprising remarks in the Spanish media after revealing he told his son to leave the Camp Nou after his lack of game time under Xavi this season.
Fati has made 24 appearances in LaLiga this season, although he has only racked up nine starts in that period after falling behind Ousmane Dembele and Raphinha.

Xavi did not want to respond to the player's father's comments, but empathise before praising Ansu.
"I understand him perfectly. He is suffering for his son. I lived through it… Ansu is a great guy, mature and will help us. I'm the first one I want to see succeed at Barça. I have good feelings with him."
"I try to make him [Ansu] comfortable, happy, I have a lot of confidence in him, I know what he's capable of. I talk a lot with him. I try to make him happy. He's going to give us a lot. I'm the first I want him to succeed."
"The important thing is that he is happy. Let's compete. Next year we haven't planned anything."
