Earlier this week, the 20-year-old's dad, Bori Fati, claimed that his son was being treated unfairly by head coach Xavi Hernandez at the Blaugrana.

He accused the club of mismanagement before admitting that he wants the youngster to leave to find regular minutes elsewhere in comments that sent shockwaves through Spanish football.

It was later reported that the academy product was unaware of his dad's interview and woke up to the drama it had caused, and felt aggrieved as he did not want go to war with the Barcelona board.

According to ESPN Deportes, Fati was left feeling "really disappointed" with his father's statements and informed his teammates that his father's comments "do not represent him".

Other reports suggest that his agent, Jorge Mendes, has already offered the Spain international to other clubs amid apparent interest from teams in the Premier League.

Manchester United, Chelsea, Arsenal and Liverpool have reportedly been monitoring the forward's situation and could pounce should Barcelona make him available at the end of the season.

Previously, the LaLiga leaders were intent on keeping the talented winger, but have reportedly decided they would sanction his sale if an appropriate offer arrived and if he made it clear he wanted an exit.
