Kaizer Chiefs coach Arthur Zwane has given insight into the missing Edmilson Dove, and hinted at the player's availability for the Soweto Derby.
Dove missed Amakhosi's 3-2 defeat to Golden Arrows in Polokwane last Sunday due to illness and has been training away from the team, while Austin Dube made his first start of the season in the Mozambican's absence.

Before the clash against Arrows, Chiefs had kept three consecutive clean sheets, including their Nedbank Cup victory over Maritzburg United at Harry Gwala Stadium. They were punished for some poor defending against Arrows and the challenge now is to improve at the back to face a Pirates side that has gained loads of confidence in the final third of the pitch.
"Unfortunately, we lost Dove. He got sick. We had to reshuffle and that has been the story of our season. We are just waiting to see who will be available. Whether Dove is going to be available or not, we will check with the medical team and take it from there," Zwane told media

Asked to be a bit more specific on Dove, the head coach said, "He has been training, but not with the team. Remember he was sick, so he has been in the gym since last week, just to try to make sure he would be ready for the game mentally and physically. So, he has not been part of the team yet.
