With the contract of Kaizer Chiefs midfielder Phathutshedzo Nange coming to an end in June this year, the former Black Leopards player looks set to be a free agent.

Siya sources have further revealed that Stellies coach Steve Barker is also understood to be keen on the player's return to the Winelands, after he speant one season at the club.

"Its a very tricky situation for the player as both coaches value him so much. You should remember its Gavin Hunt who signed him from Black Leopards for Wits and then recommended him to Chiefs when he was coaching Chiefs. Now he wants him at SuperSport United and I won't be surprised if he ends up there next season," a source revealed to the Siya crew.

"However Steve Barker is also interested in the player after he did very well for the season that he was with him in Cape Town. I think at the end of the day it will all depend on the offer as well and which team wants him more. But they are both interested in him."

The midfielder has not seen much game-time this season as he lost his place to now departed Njabulo Blom and also youngster Samkelo Zwane, who coach Arthur Zwane prefers ahead of the experienced campaigner.
