Official: Barca Star Announces Shock Retirement

Veteran defender Gerard Pique has announced he will be leaving Spanish giants FC Barcelona.

The defender confirmed that this weekend's LaLiga encounter against Almeria will be his last for the Catalan outfit and his last overall.

Barca Star Accidentally Injures Fan With Car After Training

The 35-year-old will hang up his boots this weekend after an illustrious career for both club and country.

Pique came through the youth ranks at Barcelona, before going on to play for Real Zaragoza and Manchester United.

The defender returned to the Camp Nou in 2008 under Pep Guardiola and has won numerous trophies, including three UEFA Champions League titles.
