Banyana Banyana have been drawn in a tough group at the 2023 FIFA Women's World Cup,
Desiree Ellis' charges qualified for their second World Cup tournament after reaching the final of the Women's Africa Cup of Nation semi-finals, before going on to win the final.

The draw for the World Cup took place on Saturday morning in New Zealand, where the South Africans discovered their fate for the competition.
Banyan were drawn in Group G alongside Sweden, Italy and Argentina.

South Africa made their debut at the 2019 World Cup, although they finished bottom of the group after losing to Germany, Spain and China.
The tournament will be hosted in Australia and New Zealand and will get under on 20 July 2023, with the final taking place on 20 August.
