Let us take a minute to appreciate the wonder that is Collins Mbesuma. "Ntofontofo" is three goals away from becoming only the fifth PSL player to ever score 100 goals. He has had an illustrious career and is one of the few players who can play for all three big clubs and still not be hated by the fans.
Naturally, he has been a big hit with the supporters this season, with many expecting him to pick up the top scorers' award, an accolade he's claimed before.
"Mbesuma is the best." – Mbixane
"Mbesuma will do it again." – Shadae
Collins last won the Lesley Manyathela Golden Boot award in 2005, and seems set to win it again as he currently tops the goalscoring charts for this campaign, and he's doing this all at the relatively ripe age of 32.
"Ntofontofo is still the best out there, why Chiefs ever let go of him I will never know." – Mxshadig
"It just shows you, age is not a thing. If you are good, you are good. And, wow, what a striker. I never even hated him when he left my beloved Amakhosi and then later join the Sea Robbers, that's how good he is… I was just happy I could still see him play." – Washington Ndebe
Will Mbesuma win this season's Lesley Manyathela Golden Boot award? How many more years do you think he still has left in him?
