Kaizer Chiefs will host Ajax Cape Town in the Absa Premiership tonight. Amakhosi and their opposition have not been doing very well since the beginning of the year, and could only manage draws in their previous PSL matches. Is another draw to be expected?
Ajax supporter Brian Mthembu certainly thinks so.
"There's a possibility of a draw, both teams are not doing well at the moment, and a draw would be a good result for the two teams," he said.
Chiefs have not managed to beat the Urban Warriors this season, and the last fixture between the two sides also ended in a draw. However, the home team will be looking to put one over Ajax as revenge for the loss they suffered in the MTN 8 final last year.
"The match could end up with a 1-1 draw, but definitely not a stalemate," he continued.
"It's going to be a big match for my team, and because we're currently struggling, a draw against Chiefs will be a good result for us."
Prince Nxumalo, the club's current top goalscorer, has been one of their consistent players, but Mthembu strongly suggests that it will be goalkeeper Anssi Jaakkola who will stand between the Glamour Boys and victory.
"Chiefs will be attacking, so our goalkeeper will make sure that they don't come out victorious," he concluded.
