Kaizer Chiefs and Kappa launched the club's new home and away strips, signalling the two brands reuniting for the first time since 1996.
Amakhosi will be donning a surprise green away kit for the 2023/24 season and went on to explain the thought process behind the colour and design.

Chiefs explain green kit
Amakhosi and Kappa stunned the Khosi faithful with the unveiling of their green and gold away kit.
Green is a completely new direction in terms of away jersey colourways for the Glamour Boys, who usually opt of black and white.
The club explained the intention behind the beguiling green and gold, which has been compared to the kits of South Africa's national rugby team, the Springboks.
"Inspired by the natural beauty of South Africa, the green represents the lush landscapes of the nation, while the gold trim symbolises victory and the accomplishment of the Club over the past 53 years.
"This visually stunning away jersey is a testament to Kaizer Chiefs' determination to dominate both on and off the field," explained the Soweto giants on the club's social media platforms.

The predominantly green kit features yellow detailing on the elaborate folded down collar, the logos and a line on the cuffs with tonal stripes down the front.
The tonal stripes feature illustrations of the club crest, writings of 'Amakhosi' and the club's establishment date of 1970.
