Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane has once again heaped praise on Karim Benzema, whom he recently described as the best French forward of all time.
The striker was once again influential in Los Blancos' 3-1 LaLiga win over Eibar on Sunday night, scoring once and assisting the other two goals.
Zidane, who recently stated that he believes Benzema is the best French striker in history, hailed the 33-year-old for his latest display, saying he is the "focal point" of the way his team plays.
"Benzema is a match-winner because what he's doing is on a different level, not just because of the goals," the French tactician said, according to Goal.
"I always repeat myself saying the same thing about Karim. It's not only his goals, he's a focal point in our game.
"He's very important for us and when he scores, it's even better, obviously, but he's very important for our team.
"We have to highlight everyone's performance. It was a great game today and it was a great performance from both teams. It's a well-deserved victory."
Benzema has scored 11 goals and assisted a further five strikes in 17 games for the Spanish giants so far this season.
