Mamelodi Sundowns have been the talk of the PSL after their high-spending January Transfer Window, and their coach Rulani Mokwena has come out to discuss their most famous move.
Their addition of Thembinkosi Lorch from Orlando Pirates on transfer deadline day received much criticism from Bucs followers, and Mokwena discusses why he is delighted to have brought in 'Nyoso'.

"Of course, you have to try to see how possible that is and we want to thank his former club for dealing with the transfer with integrity and respect and it's how we also try to treat every club with integrity and respect and it was not an easy transfer to make.
"But I think the respect and cooperation that exits between both Mamelodi Sundowns, our hierarchy, the Motsepe family and Orlando Pirates allowed it to take place," he further pointed out.
It's not the first time the player and coach are together – with Mokwena having been at Pirates from 2016 to 2019 where the Buccaneers claimed two runners-up finishes in that three-year spell.
That the 30-year-old one-time PSL Player of the Year, Lorch comes in with expectations aplenty can only bode well for him as according to Mokwena, he is a player that thrives on pressure.
"Of course, we're delighted to have recruited a player of his stature, magnitude because he is a player who comes in with heavy expectations and pressures to deliver but he is that type of player and big things can be expected of him," Mokwena said.
