Maritzburg United got back to winning ways, beating Free State Stars 3-0, and Mamelodi Sundowns also put three goals past opponents, Platinum Stars. On Sunday, January 21, Chippa United and Golden Arrows ended their encounter in a lacklustre 0-0 draw. Kaizer Chiefs secured three points in their 2-1 victory against home side Baroka FC.
