Mamelodi Sundowns player Xolani Mdaki is said to be doing well during his trial at Djurgardens IF in Sweden.
The youngster, who can play either as a defender or in midfield, is attending trials at the Swedish outfit, as was revealed by the Siya crew.
"Mamelodi Sundowns youngster Xolani Mdaki, has been impressive during his trials at Djurgardens FC, according to his agent Tim Sukazi. Mdaki, who has been on trial for the past two weeks, has featured in two friendly games," sundownsfc.co.za revealed.
The 22-year-old spent the 2013/14 season on loan at Santos in the NFD.
"This is his final week of trials, and we expect to hear from Djurgardens. The youngster is positive about his performance, and he knew that he had a chance to make a good impression. We believe that the club has seen enough for them to be able to make a call, as both the director of football and the coach were impressed with his performance," the Chloorkop club's official website revealed.
Mdaki is expected back in South Africa at the end of the week.
The player is expected to report at Sundowns on his return to join the rest of the other players that spent the previous season on loan at various clubs.
