Willem Jackson Heading To SuperSport United?

Platinum Stars assistant coach, Willem Jackson, could reportedly be on his way to SuperSport United to become the club's new assistant coach. As reported by the crew earlier, Matsatsantsa a Pitori are looking for an assistant coach after Kwanele Kopo was redeployed to the development side. Kopo was Cavin Johnson's assistant last season, however, according to sources, the coach has requested the club management to allow him to bring his own assistant. "The management don't want any excuses when the team fails to do well again next season, so they acceded to the coach's demands and Kwanele was moved back to the development side," said a source close to the club. Another source close to the club told the crew that Johnson would like to be reunited with Jackson, who he had worked with during his time with Dikwena. SuperSport goalkeeper coach, Alex Heredia, is currently acting as Johnson's assistant and word is that he could remain in this position if the club fails to land Jackson. Matsatsantsa a Pitori finished fifth last season and failed to win silverware in Johnson's first season in charge. Their failure to win cups last season has raised speculation about Johnson's future at the club. Speculation is rife that outgoing Bafana Bafana coach, Gordon Igesund, could take over the head coaching job. Don't follow your team in Fan Park?
